The ultimate celebration of britpop is brought to you by the biggest Britpop tribute on the scene.
From the very start of the show, you are whisked back to the hazy days of 90s British music.
Billed as the definitive tribute to all that is Britpop, they take to the stage with a swagger Liam Gallagher would be proud of. The energetic five-piece band plays homage to all that is quintessentially Britpop, with anthem after anthem from the icons of the age celebrating the era of cool Britannia in all its glory.
A show packed with anthems of the time, not just from Oasis and Blur but mixed with Pulp, Suede, Stone Rosies, The Verve, Shed7, Ocean Colour Scene, Kula Shaker and loads more!
The band is not afraid to take on the girl power so expect some Elastica or Republica are thrown in for good measure.
This isn’t just a tribute to a band, it’s a tribute to the whole era and the music of a generation.×
Dr Carlos grew up in Yateley and still lives in the town with his wife and three children. He’s an IT architect by day, DJ by night. Dr Carlos has been resident DJ for roller discos Discoskate for up to 500 people at a time in Guildford, Woking, Portsmouth and Fleet playing a variety of modern dance music, club classics and party anthems. Always bouncy and uplifting, Dr Carlos intends to bring some of that vibe to Yateley’s Gig on the Green!×
Earth Wind For Hire started as the band from the show Don’t Walk Boogie! a production in London’s west end. They went on from there to become the best and most well-known live performers of 70s disco.
The group is a colourful nine-piece outfit, who encapsulate, through unique performances, those classic soul, funk and disco sounds from the 1970s.
The amazing show includes tributes to artistes such as Chic, Rose Royce, Sister Sledge, KC and the Sunshine Band, Donna Summer, Edwin Star, Sylvester and all the 70s disco greats, including of course Earth Wind and Fire.
The look is authentic and will transport you back to the funky dance floor grooves of the 70s’ discotheques.
Earth Wind For Hire were a huge hit when they first appeared at Gig on the Green in 2017 and we are delighted to welcome them back for 2024.×

Rod's Faces is an authentic tribute to Rod Stewart and the Faces, performing the hits of the 70s and material from his successful solo career in the 80s and 90s.
Rod's Faces consists of experienced musicians who have played the pro circuit for many years, working with past clients who include Butlins 70s Weekends, Warner Hotels, Hilton Hotels, The Round Table, various music festivals and many others. We have been performing together without line-up changes for 20 years now.×

With an extensive playlist of popular Blondie tracks spanning the 70s to the present day, locally-based award-winning tribute band Atomic Rapture have been recreating the sound of one of America’s most eclectic and influential bands since 2014.
They particularly enjoy performing at open-air festivals across the south and are looking forward to returning to Gig on the Green to play Blondie's greatest hits on home turf again.
The band members are Barbara, John, Sam and Dave from Finchampstead, and Magdalene and Richard from Yateley.
One way or another their show is sure to be Atomic!×
